On today’s episode, we are with Lindsay McDonald, she is our longest employee at HSN Mentoring. She has helped every single gym coming on board over the last five. On board with getting their pricing packaging structuring. She also helps with all the free intros in sales, so she helps gym owners and coaches and staff feel really confident when getting people initially signed up for nutrition Fitness Accountability.

 

Lindsay runs the nutrition program at CrossFit Kinetics and has helped hundreds of people change their lifestyle through education on health eating habits.

She did such a great job implementing the nutrition program at her home box that we brought her on to help mentor affiliates using the HSN Consulting program.

Lindsay is passionate about nutrition and feels blessed to be able to empower others to implement nutrition programs on a day to day basis.



  • Mistake Not a clear client journey - What happens after the challenge? 

 

  • Best practice: Make it easy for people to continue after the challenge is over.

 

  • Mistake: waiting until the last minute or only mentioning the challenge a couple of times – Instead – people need to hear things 7-10 times before taking action 

 

  • Best practice - 6 week Marketing timeline different modes of communication – wod tracking (announcements), physical sign up board, email, sms, facebook groups

 

  • Mistake - inconsistency with staff | Ask yourself - Is my staff on the same page with what our program includes, benefits and how someone gets started

 

  • Best Practice: Consistent message - role playing what’s include and getting them involved 

 

  • Mistake - the challenge trap and conveyor belt | Value individualized support | Consistency Role playing in initial meetings
